Easy for little ones to follow. Fun activities. Thank you for providing this resource.
My Preschool class will love making these shapes with popsicles sticks. They are always wanting to make the shapes when they are at the art center! Thank you for providing this resource!
This is a perfect activity for my Young 5s and Kinders on Sub Days coming up. Thanks for providing this resource.
It can be challenging to find developmentally appropriate STEM activities for my young K-3 students. These popsicle stick creations are perfect! They engage those parts of the brain that are so often overlooked. You meet numerous objectives with this one pack…predicting patterns, color recognition, counting, shape identification, problem solving, critical thinking…I could keep going! An added bonus is that these activities have spurred my students to come up with their own creations, abstract shapes, and patterns after they have completed the cards. One of my fave things about this pack is that the activities are wonderful for a WIDE range of ages…from my 3-4 yo students up to elementary age students…you can offer extra support for the very young or add extension activities for older children. My teacher friends are now planning to purchase their own downloadable pack after seeing what a success these have been in my classroom. If you want to engage your students creatively while teaching multiple STEM objectives, then grab a bag of colored popsicle sticks and print/laminate your pages…that’s it, it’s that easy! And cheap which is always a plus for teachers!
My 3 year old loves these activities and keeps her busy and quiet all while learning!
